About Lindsay Gordon
Lindsay Gordon has been practicing yoga since 2008. The first class she attended was for physical benefits of the practice and her interest & curiosity immediately developed from there. She soon discovered the power it also had on her mind, heart & soul.
Lindsay has done extensive travelling and has become humbled and grateful for these experiences that brought her greater clarity, abundance and awareness of herself and the world around her. These travels brought her to Nicaragua where she developed her yoga practice and did her yoga teacher training programs. She practiced and studied with different teachers, learning a diverse range of philosophies and styles, focusing on the ones she preferred, empowered her to deepen her practice and knowledge and become more inspired to teach and pass along this ancient practice.
Her classes integrate alignment, breath & body awareness, core work for greater stability & strength, stretch & mobility focus for joints & connective tissues with basic poses and creative sequencing to keep it fun and energetic. Each class is designed with an overall intention to encourage students to find they’re honest edge in each pose while keeping the benefits consistent and they’re progress always evolving.
Lindsay’s favourite practice depends on the day and what she is feeling, she honours her body and listens to it and allows her body to lead the way.
In all styles and types of yoga, mindfulness, awareness, honouring one’s body in where it is sitting in that moment, utilizing the props we have and being true to yourself is her intention when guiding a group of unique individuals.
